Gold Star family life members
POVA offers free lifetime membership to all family members of PSYOP soldiers who have died in action. As of 1 October 2016, 40 American PSYOP soldiers have died while deployed during the Korean War, the Viet-Nam War, the several engagements in the Middle East, Latin and South America, and Africa, and the recent wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. Gold Star families are always invited to attend our reunions, and are honored as very special members of our Association. Gold Star families are provided with an engraved POVA Life Member certificate and a Life Member pin.
Due to the sensitivity of this familial relationship, Gold Star family names will not be published by POVA.
